This Privacy Policy describes how Kaci R Calvaresi ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the VetoSpam mobile application ("App") available on the Apple App Store.
The short version: VetoSpam collects no personal data whatsoever. Everything stays on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
VetoSpam is designed from the ground up to operate without collecting, transmitting, or storing any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
- Your call history, call logs, or records of incoming or outgoing calls
- The phone numbers you add to your blocklist
- Your location data
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any unique device IDs
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data
- Any data from your contacts
2. How VetoSpam Works
VetoSpam integrates with Apple's native Call Directory framework to block and identify phone numbers. All processing occurs entirely on your iPhone. Your blocklist is stored in an encrypted local database on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
VetoSpam does not require an account, an email address, or any form of registration to function.
3. No Third-Party SDKs with Data Access
VetoSpam does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, or any similar service.
4. App Store Purchase
VetoSpam is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.
5. Children's Privacy
VetoSpam does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is not directed at children.
6. Data Security
Because we collect no data, there is no personal data on our servers that could be breached. Your blocklist data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption.
7. Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the App from your device.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
